Preparing for Your Installation

If you have paid for furniture moving, the independent Contractor will move normal household furniture on the day of installation. All personal items, antiques, electronics, etc. need to be removed prior to the installers arrival.

If you have NOT purchased furniture moving, please arrange for ALL furniture to be removed form any areas in which flooring will be installed.

Installation

Acclimation

Laminate and Wood flooring both require acclimation inside of your home, per the manufactures specifications. This requires the purchase of delivery prior to the installation date to allow the proper amount of time for acclimation. If you have any questions regarding the specific acclimation period of your product, please feel free to reach out to us.

Day of Your Installation

Installers will arrive during the 2-hour window provided at time of scheduling. Our installers will go over your installation to assure that everything matches your anticipated materials and seam placements if applicable. Once all materials are verified, installers will begin the installation process. Installers will complete the installation per manufacturer guidelines as well as the installation contract and detail.

Once completed, our installers will clean any debris from your new flooring as well as sweep/vacuum the area. At this time our installers will walk you through the completed project to ensure you are fully satisfied. You will be asked to sign a Certificate of Completion and will be asked if you would like to keep any remaining products.
