Installers will arrive during the 2-hour window provided at time of scheduling.
Our installers will go over your installation to assure that everything matches your anticipated materials.
Once all materials are verified, installers will begin the installation process. Installers will complete the installation per manufacturer guidelines as well as the installation contract and detail.
Once completed, our installers will clean any debris from your new doors and/or windows as well as sweep/vacuum the area. At this time our installers will walk you through the completed project to ensure you are fully satisfied.
You will be asked to sign a Certificate of Completion and will be asked if you would like to keep any remaining products.
Care Information
Frame Cleaning: You can wash frames with a mild non abrasive soap and water. Never use abrasive or acidic cleaners. Always test cleaners in inconspicuous area first. Wipe dry when finished
Glass Care: The best practice is to clean glass with mild dish soap and water or a vinegar water solution. Never use petroleum based cleaners, caustic chemicals, razor blades or high pressure water hoses
Screen Care: To clean screens remove the screen and was with mild soap and water with a soft bristle brush
Keep those windows operating smoothly:
Lubricate window hardware at least once a year. In areas of high salt air at least twice a year
Regularly check weather-stripping to ensure your patio doors and windows seal airtight
Occasionally vacuum the tracks on all sliding patio doors and windows to remove any dirt or debris
Proper Drainage: The weep system allows water to drain to the outside as it builds up. Periodically inspect weep holes and ensure they are clean of dirt or debris
Wood doors should be sealed or painted before or immediately after being installed.
Wood doors need an inspection of all six sides at least annually. Wood doors that are not protected by an overhang will need more frequent inspections due to exposure to weather impacts, such as moisture, blowing dirt and sand and sunlight
All doors should be brushed off all surfaces with a dust brush or dry rag
All doors you should not pressure wash
For stained doors, clean with mild cleaner and then use a wood polish annually and do not use anything acidic on the door
For painted doors clean with mild soap and water
Use a glass cleaner or mixture of vinegar and water to clean glass, being careful not to allow any to drip on the door finish
Clean the hardware using a cloth and warm water with a diluted mild soap solution.
